Benefit Changes for 2023

As noted in the October open enrollment presentation, benefit time will change beginning in January 2023. Full-time employees will be granted time off based on the schedule outlined below. (Benefit time is based upon years of service attained during that year. Example: If your 5-year anniversary is in October, the amount of benefit time awarded to you would be 22 days in January of that year.)

Years of Service               Benefit Time

1–4 years                          17 days + additional 4 floating days

5–9 years                         22 days + additional 4 floating days

10–14 years                      24 days + additional 4 floating days

15+ years                          27 days + additional 4 floating days*

*Will also accrue an additional day per each odd year of service. This will cap at 32 days with the additional 4 floating.

  • Floating days include: birthday, HRA and two additional days per calendar year.

  • Benefit time can be used at any time during the year.

  • Employees can carry over up to 15.50 hours in 2023.

  • Floating days cannot be cashed out or rolled over.

  • The payout maximum will be five days in 2023.
