NCMIC Fit Walking Challenge Winner Announced

Last month, we held a step challenge April 23-30. We want to thank all those who participated. In total, you walked over 600,000 steps walked. A huge shout out and congratulations to our winner, Valerie Fouts, who logged 125,872 steps over the weeklong challenge!

In addition, we still have Try the Y passes available in HR for those who would like to try the YMCA gyms free for a week. Stop in to pick up a pass.

Summer Dress Code Updates

With the warmer months approaching, we will be implementing the summer dress from last year where employees are allowed to wear shorts to work throughout the week. A couple of things to note:

  • Shorts need to be work appropriate.

  • Please dress for your day. If you have meetings, visitors, etc., please plan accordingly.

This summer dress change started Monday, May 8 and will be in effect for the remainder of the summer months. We will send a follow up email when we are back to original dress code.

NCMIC’s Corporate BHAGs

As discussed last fall in an all-employee meeting, NCMIC is proud of and excited by the strategic corporate goals and BHAGs (Big, Hairy, Audacious Goals) it has implemented.

To further promote our strategic mission, there are roller shades around the building defining our BHAGs along with each employee receiving a desktop accessory listing the BHAGs. Remote employees will receive the desktop accessory in the mail.

As always, if you have questions on our corporate strategy and BHAGs please feel free to chat with any member of SMT or your manager.
