Dr. Louis Sportelli to Be Featured in The American Chiropractor
NCMIC Foundation President Dr. Louis Sportelli will be featured in next month’s edition of The American Chiropractor.
The article titled “A Look to the Past & Future: Over 60 Years Serving Chiropractic” covers Dr. Sportelli’s storied career in the chiropractic profession, from his time as a student to present day discussing why research and the NCMIC Foundation is so important.
Bring Your Dog to Work Day is a Barking Success
NCMIC is having a blast with Bring Your Dog to Work Day! So many of you have introduced your coworkers and friends to your beloved pets and we appreciate you for doing so! Last month alone, we met Chima Igbokwe’s Shiba Inu (left) Hiro; Stacy Conradt’s Bernadoodle, Mac (middle); and A.J. Simpson’s mix breed, June (right).
If you haven’t signed up to bring your dog to the office, contact Molly O’Neill in HR to sign up. Remember, only three dogs are allowed in the office at a time.
Starting With Success Website Launched in July
NCMIC has officially launched the Starting With Success website, a resource created with the needs of student naturopaths in mind. From business plans to social media marketing, the website offers resources to help prepare students for the transition from school to practice, while giving ND practitioners a refresher, as well.
The Starting With Success website was modeled after NCMIC’s Starting Into Practice® website, which serves student chiropractors and those new to practice. Starting With Success provides helpful resources for students whether they’re starting their own practice, joining an existing practice or becoming an independent contractor. From creating a financial plan, to building a professional team or marketing a practice, the website offers students research-based and real-life examples students can use to guide decisions regarding their practice. Check it out at startingwithsuccess.com. You’ll need to create a login to access the website’s resources.

Kaley Lempke and Dillon Fevold were married on Saturday, July 29 at LifeGate Fellowship in Humboldt. A reception followed at the Lizard Creek Ranch in Fort Dodge. The couple honeymooned in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Congrats, Kaley and Dillon!

Lauren Manecke and Jon Phillips were married on Saturday, July 29 at St. Ambrose Cathedral in downtown Des Moines. A reception was held at The Tea Room. The couple honeymooned in Croatia. Congrats, Lauren & Jon!
