Happy (Bike) Trails to You!

A recent meetup of the NCMIC Trail Riders.

If you’ve been looking for a way to log more miles on your bike or just to find a new way to connect with your fellow cyclists, consider joining the NCMIC Trail Riders.

The NCMIC Trail Riders is for people of all biking levels or trail usage interests. Whether you like to ride scooters, roller blades or long board you are welcome to join. Each ride will be led by employees very familiar with our trail system. The events are a great time to get together with colleagues, retirees and their friends/family who enjoy the central Iowa trails and food/beverage establishments along the way.

If you’re interested, just click on this link (NCMIC Trail Riders) to join their Teams page where you can receive all information regarding upcoming rides, fun biking tips, etc. Please reach out to Craig Schneider with questions.

DialMyCalls Makes Its NCMIC Debut

HR has announced a new safety alert system, DialMyCalls.

DialMyCalls is a system that is used to alert staff in the event of an emergency such as, tornado, fire, active shooter etc. All employees will receive a text message to their personal cell phones indicating the situation and requesting them to head to their designated areas. Moving forward, this will be used to communicate any safety announcements. DialMyCalls is similar to alert systems used in area public schools.

If you have questions, please reach out to HR for help.
