HR News You Can Use
On Thursdays We Wear NCMIC
As mentioned at the Biannual Update, we recently noticed something happening every Thursday around the office: Lots of people, no matter what department or line of business, seem to be sporting NCMIC apparel. When we asked, we heard, “Oh yeah, NCMIC Thursdays—it’s a thing.”
So, we’re officially making it a thing! Every Thursday, we encourage you to wear your NCMIC or Professional Solutions-branded items, and, if you’re so inclined, share on social using #NCMICThursdays. We can’t wait to see what you’re wearing!
Get Ready for March Madness
March Madness is right around the corner—time to dust off your basketball knowledge and get ready for some friendly competition!
NCMIC will be hosting two internal bracket pools—one for the men's and one for the women's tournament— that employees can participate in.
Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd best brackets.
Here are the links to the bracket pools:
The scoring for both pools is straightforward: Each round has a point value (Round 1 games = 1 point. Final Four games = 16 points), with additional points awarded equaling the winning team's seed. So, if you correctly picked a 16 seed to beat a 1 seed, that gives you an additional 16 points!
Also, join us on Thursday, March 21 beginning at 11 a.m. in rooms 122/123 for a March Madness Viewing Party. Stop down during some free time and/or your lunch break to watch the basketball games and enjoy a light snack. Feel free to wear your favorite college attire (work appropriate) that day to show your madness spirit.
Let's make this March Madness one to remember!

New ISI Enterprise Go-Live Date Announced
It was recently announced that Tuesday, Sept. 3 has been identified as the new go-live date for ISI Enterprise, the new customer portals, and the Paymentus integration. The new date will allow us adequate time to successfully launch the new system and ensure a positive experience for both our internal users and our policy holders.
Please note that Monday, Sept. 2 is Labor Day and a company holiday, which is why our go-live date is scheduled on a Tuesday. We appreciate the commitment and understanding of those core project team members who will be required to work over the holiday weekend.
Please let Chick or Melissa know if you have any questions.
Your Questions Answered: The Biannual Update
We want to follow up on a few of the questions posed at the Biannual Update. If you have any questions regarding these answers, please feel free to contact HR.
Q. We used to have a community type page on the intranet where we could post something for sale, or ask a question. Will that return?
A. The community page that we used to use is no longer available/active, so it is not an option to bring it back. If you have certain items that you would like to discuss, please contact HR.
Q. Can we get the HRA exam form earlier in the year if we aren’t going to offer the onsite option?
A. This is now located on UltiPro under Frequently Requested Documents.
Q. Increasing gym/fitness reimbursement? Prices are going up and this would help health care cost go down for employees.
A. Thank you for your feedback. We will be increasing the annual amount from $300 to $500.
Q. Addressing the ambitious objective of doubling revenue and profit within a 10 year timeframe raises important considerations. While emphasizing the expansion of the chiropractic business is undoubtedly crucial, it may not solely suffice to achieve such substantial growth. I am interested in gaining insights into your vision regarding the avenues through which this growth target can be realized. Could you kindly elaborate on the additional sources of growth you foresee contributing to this goal? What do you feel is the largest growth opportunity for our company? What will NCMIC looks like in 2034?
A. A Lunch & Learn will be scheduled to address these questions. Please stay tuned for the Save the Date!
