Springing Into Spring with Bring Your Dog to Work Day

Dogs and great weather go hand-in-hand and we are loving both at NCMIC so far this season. On Feb. 20, we met Sabrina Cox’s Aussiedoodle, Cooper (far left), and Laurel Feakes’ Australian Shepherd, Tatum (second from left). Then, on March 5, we welcomed Patrick McCormick’s pug, Grady (second from right), and Rachel Bergez’ dog, Sophie (far right).

Reminder, you must sign up in HR to bring your dog to work. Spots are first come first serve, and you’re asked to limit it to one spot at a time. If there are additional spots open, HR will send out a communication to all staff. Hope to meet your sweet pup soon!

IT Takes Top Prize in NCMIC Fit Flag Challenge

NCMIC’s IT department received the most votes for in the NCMIC FIT department flag challenge and is the current keeper of the department traveling trophy. They also won a small breakfast for their team.

The flag challenge was the first of several department challenges included in the NCMIC Fit 2024 program. Departments were asked to create a flag that embodied the spirit of their department. Employees were asked to vote for their favorites. Congrats, IT, on your award!

Who Won Vision Mission Values Awards Last Month?

The Vision, Mission & Values awards began appearing in The INsider’s newsletter in December and are now available each month. They will continue to show up on the NCMIC TVs, as well. Take a look at the February winners and check back each month to see who else has won. Congrats to all!
