What’s the secret to your longevity?
I’m someone that always needs to be learning and working on something that challenges me. Over the years NCMIC has provided a lot of opportunities to learn and grow. That has kept me excited and coming back for more.
Say I’m looking at NCMIC for my next job, what would you tell me about the company that would convince me to apply?
NCMIC has a welcoming “small company” feel, while still offering a variety of opportunities you might expect only at a larger company. The sense of community and belonging that people feel when working here sets us apart.

I have a lot of fond memories of our holiday parties and United Way campaigns. We know how to have a lot of fun at NCMIC!

What’s the secret to your longevity?
One of my favorite aspects of my job is the variety of work. This is especially true in marketing. The methods we use to communicate have changed so much in a short amount of time. It’s exciting to be part of it.
I also love the people I work with and the camaraderie that develops within the team. In addition, I truly believe that we make life better for our DCs and other customers. It’s nice to be proud of your workplace and its mission; not everyone has that.
Say I’m looking at NCMIC for my next job, what would you tell me about the company that would convince me to apply?
NCMIC’s work/life balance is amazing. I’ve never felt like I had to choose between work and family priorities; there is room for everything. I’ve experienced all the chaos and activities that come from raising two boys, and the stress of family members (near and far) with health issues over the years. I’ve felt supported by NCMIC through it all.
What’s a favorite memory about working at NCMIC?
I love Halloween, and the company festivities are really fun. It’s great when everyone takes a break to participate. There have been some memorable costumes!
