Submit Your Questions for Jan. 24 More Than Coffee

The next More Than Coffee is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 24 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in rooms 122/123 and we’re talking about the ISI Enterprise transition happening on April 1. Many of you have been involved with the transition already, but as we get closer to the date, it will be a company-wide effort that will require all hands on deck. 

All NCMIC employees are invited to submit ISI- and portal-related questions for this month’s More Than Coffee event. Submit questions here by EOD Jan. 17 and hosts will answer as many as possible in the hour.


2024 Employee Handbook Released; Approval Needed by Jan. 24

NCMIC continually reviews and updates its Employee Handbook to ensure we follow federal and state guidelines, remain competitive and help clarify questions. Listed below are updates made and effective as of January 2024 (unless otherwise noted). These updates supersede any prior version(s) of the handbook. 

The updated NCMIC Employee Handbook is linked here and can be found in UltiPro. Employees need to acknowledge the latest version by Wednesday, Jan. 24 by visiting Menu>Myself>Documents>Document Acknowledgments in UltiPro. Updates include:

Employee Benefits:

  • Updated: Added Pet Insurance 

Time Off:

  • Updated: Carryover to 31.00 hours

  • Added: If two weeks’ notice is not given no benefit time will be paid out

  • Updated: 4 weeks of LTSL for care of dependent child or parent and adoption

  • Added: Birthing parent language

Safety and Security:

  • Added: AI Policy

If you need clarification regarding any of the changes, policies, procedures, and/or information contained within the Employee Handbook, please discuss with your manager or contact Human Resources.

Open Path Signs Posted

Following our most recent PCI Audit, the recommendation has been made to have signs posted around the building at all Open Path Access points. 

This is just as a reminder for all employees and letting staff know that these signs have been posted. If you have any questions, please contact your manager or Human Resources.


Sign Up for 2024 Bring Your Dog to Work Days

Bring Your Dog to Work Day is already in full swing in 2024! There are sign-up sheets located in HR and it will be first come, first serve for the available dates. Please only sign your furry friend up for one slot. Employees will be informed if/when there are additional openings.

Reminder, all dogs that visit the office must have a Doggy Application filled out. If you completed one in 2023, you do not need to do so again. If you have any questions, please let Molly O’Neill know.
